The "Whistlers"

In a college voted the best private college of the country, having numerous accreditions including one from the American Education Board, one would expect some liberties and a certain degree of freedom when it comes to the interaction between the opposite sex. Well, things don't always go as expected and so was my case when I stepped inside the college for the first time. The brochure paints a very eaggerated picture of the level of freedom at my college. Once I did step inside, I was made aware of my limitations ( that of all the guys to be honest ) by the annas( security guards ) who occupy every possible corner of our campus. The administration has equipped them with a weapon of mass irrittation, a whistle, a "sity"! leave aside the romance, even friends roaming in the college campus have to hear the gruesome sities of the annas. And the pain doesnt end there, even a group of all guys have to hear his sity after girls have gone inside hostel. Seems the adminstration too is becomiong increasingly aware of the dostana effect. As if this wasn't the height, I remember a time when I was made to go to foodcourt because apparently even a single student ain't allowed to sit in lonely corners after evenings. Well, well I hope you all don't get ideas regarding me because of this incident. I was doing nothing of the sort tht would make tht stupid anna shoo me off. Well, I wonder at times, what is it that makes these annas run after us, making the ever decresing possiblity of finding some time wid one's girlfrnd/boyfrnd alone even more diminished. Maybe they get jealous seeing girls roaming around wid us guys. Or maybe everyone of dem has a daughter in our college. Or even better, they want to be the only suitors to the girls in our college! The reasons might never end, and am pretty sure that these rascals won't ever stop whistling at us all....till the end of our engg. I must admit that it is one of my most prominent desires to go kick atleast one anna's ass before I leave the college. If there are any more supporters of the idea, plz get in touch.
