Whos winning ..??

So it happens again, Indian team lost a close match which at some point seemed like a piece of cake for them. I admit it was quite disappointing to be a part of losing side. But i am not penning this down to register my frustration about this loss. After all winning and losing is all part of a game...To be on the lighter side, think it a bit different, if there wouldnt have been a losing side then the mere existence of the winning side would have been threatened. Well that was just the light side of the story..he he ..so no need for you to be really stuck up with that thought...

Anyways in India, it seems the story never ends with a loss infact the actual story here starts after a loss. The accusations , the so called analysis of the loss and the reasons accounting for the loss are all anlaysed with the EXPERTS to bring out the actual culprit.. its kinda shameful but the truth is evryone becomes an expert in such situations and humiliate the players and their strategies without respecting their past records. Players are after all humans not machines. Committing mistakes are all part of the human life. Instead of supporting the players in these tough times and telling them that we still have trust on their abilities and committment we make them realise that they are being outcasted.

There's an old saying that everyone greets the rising sun which is quite true. But we should never forget to embrace everyone alike without discriminating on the basis of outcome of a result, rather the sole criterion to discriminate (if at all necessary..) should be the “efforts” put in not the “result” that comes out..

These things might seem trivial but i guess these basic morals only build the foundations of true sportsmanship. But its the structure of our society, that just talks about the success and completly neglects the failures..may be its because of the competition that we face, but we shouldnt forget that its the failures that teaches us a lesson and helps us know our mistakes and success on the other hand though is more desirable, but it blinds us from these mistakes that we could have done. It's the failure that paves the path for the success.

Success and failures are just the two faces of the same coin. Like the heads and tails are the complete opposite sides but still they both together comprise the value of a coin, similar is the case of the coin “RESULT”..though success and failure are just the opposite sides of this coin they together contribute to its value. As a coin with two heads is worthless, so is the case with result. Both the success and the failure should be given equal treatment because after all they both complete the cycle of life together.

So friends instead of criticising our team, we should make sure to stand by its sides and let them know that they still are our heroes and they still have our wishes with them.

  1. Abe still be...the team should realise their responsiblities and perform in a manner which does not shatter the billion dreams that they carry. And to expect people to behave all brotherly withe team when we were kicked out and pakistan made it to the semis is to ask too much of dem....
